Steve Wootten’s extensive experience at Coles had him hand picked to work with the Boston Consulting Group, devising a 5 year blueprint for the sale of the Coles Group to Wesfarmers. Steve also won the prestigious Coles Young Retailer of the Year award for four consecutive years.
Steve along with Pete Cushman founded Dynamic Retail Solutions in 2008 to assist manufacturers and trading companies in dealing with Australian retailers and revolutionising the Australia food broker industry.

Peter Cushman has over 35 years retail industry experience working for leading Supermarket chains across Australia. Peter has worked for Coles Supermarket’s for an impressive 20 years service.
Peter has held numerous senior management and executive roles with Coles and Foodworks Supermarkets including State Personnel Manager, National Senior Buyer (numerous categories), National Innovation Private Label Manager and National Merchandise Manager.
Peter is considered one of Australia’s experts at Private Label and Home Brand management. From initial concept through to finished product on self and in-store, Peter has all in the insights and processes to ensure FMCG Private Label products come to life.
He is an expert Australian food broker and also consults to Australia Government agencies regarding grocery brand management.
Peter jointly founded Dynamic Retail Solutions in 2008 to assist manufactures dealing with Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Costco, Metcash and leading Australian food service distributors.
Export Sales & Clearance Director
Jeff Gordon is an accomplished senior business executive with over 25 years retail industry experience.
Jeff is a specialist in Export Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Negotiation.
Jeff’s extensive professional career has included 10 years in various Retail Sales Management roles at Coles Myer followed by 14 years in Senior Executive roles at Optus.
At Optus, Jeff held both State and National Management roles across Product Procurement & Delivery, Sales & Marketing, Logistics and Customer Experience.
Jeff was appointed as member of the Optus Executive Group after being awarded the company CEO Award for Outstanding Executive Achievement.
Jeff joined Dynamic Retail Solutions in 2013 and leads the International Export Sales, Petrol & Convenience and FMCG stock clearance divisions.
Food Services & Distributors Manager
Michael has held senior management roles at major corporate companies such as Smiths Snackfoods, Southcorp Wines and more recently Carlton & United Breweries.
Throughout his extensive sales career, he’s managed major account teams that successfully worked in conjunction with large-scale customers such as Coles and Woolworths, as well as being responsible for field operational teams.
More recently Michael has been a self-employed consultant and worked in conjunction with Distributors, Independent Retailers and Food Service.
Michael delivers our business a skill set that has enabled him to develop both high performing teams and individuals throughout his career, along with strong leadership and a broad knowledge across all business functions.

Michael Burns has worked for several of Australia’s largest retail groups, Coles Supermarkets and Woolworth’s for a combined 28 years.
Michael has held many senior merchandise positions in supermarkets and Hardware sectors including National Category manager, National merchandise Manager Promotions manager and senior buying & marketing roles. He has also successfully managed small businesses.
Michael Burns’ extensive experience across Retail, Category Management, Overseas Buying and NPD has seen him manage many cross functional projects with the Coles group and with Home Timber and Hardware.
Michael was a finalist in the Retailer world Young retailer of the year and has a Certificate Corporate Management (Deakin, Majoring in International Business, Change management, and Marketing).
